The Unicorn Racing Team was introduced to the Perth cycle racing community in March 2013 with initial appearances at the Masters summer criterium events. The Team was finalised over the summer period in preparation for the upcoming winter road racing season where the Team aimed to demonstrate itself as a dominant racing force. The Team was selected from a cohort of riders trained by Hall Cycle Training (Brad Hall). Members were chosen based on personal character traits, individual strengths in various riding preferences and levels of fitness; together they bring the Team a depth in performance for all types of racing.

National Tree Day is Australia’s largest tree-planting and nature care event. Each year over 200,000 people take part in National Tree Day events at 3,000 sites organised by councils, schools, businesses, communities and Toyota Dealers across the country. Since Planet Ark launched National Tree Day in 1996, more than three million participants have planted 20 million native trees, shrubs and grasses.
This year Big Rock Toyota chose Takari School for the planting of the trees.
The students all had a great time , and were given a tree planting pack which contained gloves, a sun hat, T-shirt and a tree to plant.
